Your Morocco Eclipse 2027 journey begins the moment you step off the plane in Casablanca. One of our team will be waiting for you at the arrivals gate, ready to whisk you away to your hotel in comfort. Tonight is yours to unwind, settle in, and let the excitement of what's ahead sink in.
Overnight: Casablanca
Breakfast kicks off the day before you meet your local guide for an in-depth look at Casablanca. The exterior of the Hassan II Mosque is a jaw-dropping opener, a vast Atlantic-facing structure that stands as one of the great architectural achievements of the modern era. Your route then winds along the seafront corniche, into the traditional Habous quarter, and past the outer walls of the Royal Palace.
The afternoon brings a drive north to Rabat, Morocco's graceful capital. Its roots go back to the Almohad commander Abd Al-Mu'min, who named it "Ribatu l-Fath," the stronghold of victory. A guided walkthrough covers the Royal Palace, the striking Hassan Tower, and the character-filled alleyways of Kasbah Oudaya. Spare time to browse the old medina's maze of stalls: handcrafted leather goods, embroidered bags, Berber jewellery, and much more.
Overnight: Rabat

After breakfast, the road leads north to Tangier, a city that has captivated travellers, writers, and diplomats for centuries. Perched at the southern tip of the Strait of Gibraltar, with Spain visible just across the water, Tangier has been a crossroads between Africa and Europe since the Phoenicians first anchored here.
Your guide introduces the city at the Kasbah Museum of Mediterranean Cultures, set inside Dar el Makhzen, once a sultan's residence. From there, you move into the energy of the Petit Socco and Grand Socco markets, alive with vendors, aromas, and colour.
Two stops of particular note: the American Legation Museum, home to the celebrated Moroccan Mona Lisa, and St. Andrew's Anglican Church, an extraordinary building where Moroccan craftsmanship meets Christian worship, the Lord's Prayer carved in Arabic above its altar.
Overnight: Tangier
Meals: Breakfast
This is the day you came for. The Morocco Solar Eclipse sweeps across the sky this afternoon, a celestial event so rare that most people will never witness another in their lifetime. Stand back, look up, and let the moment wash over you.
As the skies return to normal, your journey continues into the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen, the Blue Pearl. Your guide leads you through Kasbah Ali Ben Rachid and the open plazas of Plaza Uta el-Hammam before exploring the medina's signature indigo-and-cobalt alleyways.
This tradition of painting in blue stems from the Jewish community who settled here centuries ago; the colour represents the heavens, God's presence, and a sense of peace that you'll feel immediately.
Overnight: Chefchaouen
Meals: Breakfast
Breakfast done, you set off on one of the tour's most varied days.
First stop: Volubilis, Morocco's best-preserved Roman site and a UNESCO World Heritage inscription. A specialist guide brings the ruins to life: triumphal arches, a Capitoline Temple, and floors of intact Orpheus mosaics that have survived nearly two thousand years.
Next comes Meknes, an imperial city that rivals its more famous counterparts but draws far fewer crowds. Sultan Moulay Ismail built it with the ambition of creating Morocco's own Versailles, and looking at the immense Bab El Mansour and Lhri gates, you can see why the comparison was made. The evening finds you in Fez, ready for tomorrow's deep dive.
Overnight: Fez
Meals: Breakfast
Fez served as Morocco's capital city until 1912, and its medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site dating to the 9th century, remains the world's largest living medieval city and home to its oldest continuously operating university.
Your local guide navigates you through its dizzying corridors to the Bou-Inania and Attarin Medersas, the atmospheric tanneries, Ess-Seffarine Square, the tomb of Moulay Idriss, El-Nejjarine Square, the souk of the woodworkers, and the historic Jewish quarter of Mellah.
A pottery workshop with a master craftsman gives you a hands-on taste of Fassi artisan tradition. After lunch at a local restaurant, the afternoon is free to return to the hotel or plunge back into the medina on your own. In October each year, Fez hosts one of the world's most celebrated Sufi music festivals; ask your guide about it.
Overnight: Fez
Meals: Breakfast
Leaving Fez behind, today's drive carries you through the countryside, passing through the mountain village of Imouzar and the cedar-forested highland town of Ifrane, Morocco's unlikely ski resort, more Swiss than Saharan in character.
Later in the day, you pass through Beni-Mellal, a city renowned for its rich agricultural lands and surrounding orchards, before the road delivers you to Marrakech as evening falls.
Overnight: Marrakech
Meals: Breakfast
Breakfast in the Ochre City, then your local guide and driver take the wheel.
The Majorelle Garden is first a botanical masterpiece conceived by French painter Jacques Majorelle, later restored and opened to the public, its electric-blue buildings and lush plantings a world away from the dusty streets outside.
You then visit the Menara, a serene royal pavilion overlooking an ancient olive garden and reflecting pool that has barely changed in eight centuries.
The route continues past the minaret of the Koutoubia Mosque and through the Jewish quarter of Mellah. Lunch at a local restaurant marks a natural pause, after which the afternoon is yours to explore independently or rest before returning to your hotel
.
Overnight: Marrakech
Meals: Breakfast
This morning belongs to you. Wander the souks of Jemaa el-Fna, revisit a favourite corner of the medina, treat yourself to a hammam, or simply take your breakfast slowly on a café terrace as the city wakes up. Optional excursions are available if you'd like to make more of the morning.
In the afternoon, your driver collects you for the transfer back to Casablanca, where you check in for your final night in Morocco.
Overnight: Casablanca
Meals: Breakfast
After a final breakfast, you're transferred to Casablanca's Mohammed V International Airport. As you board, you carry with you the memory of a total solar eclipse, the blue streets of Chefchaouen, the echoes of Fez's ancient medina, and the warmth of Morocco's people.
Safe travels until next time.
